Live Sport Streaming – 5 and 6 June 2021 with Liberty Shield VPN

Hello, hello, hello and welcome to your Liberty Shields Live Sports blog for this upcoming weekend. Need a Live Sport Streaming VPN?

It’s June. I have no idea how, but it’s June. Summer is here, the good weather is finally here on at least a semi-regular basis, Covid regulations are getting relaxed more and more and the light at the end of the tunnel is growing bigger with each passing week. Fun Fact: Live Sport Streaming is one of the most searched terms on Google!

Our Live Sport VPN articles are brought to you in partnership with EPL Index, and Dave Hendrick – host of the Two Footed Podcast, offering FREE podcasts to football fans.

Anyway, it’s the weekend again so as usual we’ve put together a somewhat exhaustive list of the best live sport available to you over the next few days, and though it’s a pretty quiet weekend in terms of volume there’s plenty of major events taking place so let’s just jump straight in.

England vs Romania Streaming VPN

It’s the calm before the storm. With all domestic football wrapped up for the season, the wait is on until Euro 2020 kicks off 12 months later than planned. It’s a quiet weekend for the world of football but there are still plenty of International Friendlies and some World Cup Qualifiers on if you’re in desperate need of a football fix.

Wales play Albania on Saturday at 5pm but perhaps Brazil vs Ecuador at 1.30am on Friday night/Saturday morning is pick of the Saturday games.

Sunday is quite busy with Germany taking on Portugal in the final of the Under 21 European Championships and England vs Romania along with Scotland vs Luxembourg in friendlies, but the game of the day could be the friendly between Belgium and Croatia. Both are among the favourites to win the Euros so this promises to be an entertaining match to see where both stand.

Leicester vs Bristol Live Rugby VPN

Lots of domestic rugby ahead this weekend, starting tonight as Connacht take on Ospreys at 6pm in the Pro 14. After that there’s Glasgow vs Leinster at 8.15pm. The Premiership also sees action at 7.45pm with Sale hosting Harlequins. If you fancy something more exotic, then perhaps the Bulls vs the Stormers in the South African section of the Pro 14 is more your thing. That’s also a 6pm kickoff.

Lots of action on Saturday. The Premiership gives us Leicester vs Bristol and Newcastle vs Worcester at 3pm, followed by London Irish vs Wasps at 4.30pm, while in the Pro 14 it’s the Lions vs Sharks in the South African section at 3pm, before Edinburgh take on Ulster at 5.15pm and Cardiff take on Zebre at 7.35pm.

Just the one game on Sunday as Northampton take on Exeter in the Premiership at 3pm. As always, it’s BT Sports for the Premiership, Premier Sports for the Pro 14.

Rozenstruik vs Sakai

The UFC are back in business this weekend, bringing you UFC Fight Night: Rozenstruik vs Sakai. The headline bout is a heavyweight contest between Jairzinho Rozenstruik and Augusto Sakai that should prove an exciting contest between two enormous men with one simple intention, knock the other dude out. Rozenstruik, 11-2, has 10 KO’s on his MMA resume along with 64 from his days as a professional kickboxer, while Sakai 15-2-1 has 11 KO wins to his name.

There’s a strong undercard to this event and while it might lack big name talent, there are plenty of knockout and submission specialists set to fight which should lead to an exciting card.

Daniel Dubois Boxing VPN

Daniel Dubois will take on Bogdan Dinu in a WBA Interim Heavyweight Title fight on Saturday, though what the purpose of this is, nobody seems sure. Anthony Joshua is the WBA Super Champ, while Trevor Bryan won the Regular title back in January. Neither Dubois nor Dinu are seen as world title calibre fighters so it’s unlikely that much stock will be put into whoever holds the “interim” title after this fight.

The real boxing event of the weekend isn’t really a boxing event. Floyd Mayweather, arguably the greatest boxer of all time, will take on Logan Paul of Youtube fame in an exhibition fight. There will be no judges for the fight, thus making it merely an exhibition event that people seem to be paying $49.99 for the privilege of watching. Regardless of the result, Mayweather will remain 50-0 but become even richer. Nice work if your can get it.

Memorial Tournament Golf VPN

The Memorial Tournament at the Muirfield Village Golf Club in Dublin, Ohio is centre stage for the PGA tour this weekend with a massive $9.3mil total prize fund up for grabs. Despite his recent hole-in-one there is no truth to rumours that Liberty Shield’s Greig Hopcroft is part of the field but Colin Morikawa, Justin Thomas, Shane Lowry, Stewart Cink and Rory McIlroy are all part of the field. The tournament, founded by Jack Nicklaus in 1976 has seen more than it’s fair share of big name winners, including Tiger Woods who has won it four times and Nicklaus himself, who won it twice. Jon Rahm was the winner in 2020, taking home the winners cheque for $1.674mil. After the first round Rahm sits three strokes behind the leader, Morikawa, after shooting an impressive three under 69. Morikawa’s six under 66 has put him in a position to potential chase Tom Lehman’s tournament record of 268 across four rounds, set in 1994.

Azerbaijan Grand Prix F1 VPN

After a week off, the Formula 1 season recommences with the Azerbaijan Grand Prix, held on the streets of Baku. The Baku City Circuit has become one of the more exciting tracks in Formula 1 but many fans would prefer to see it separated from the Monaco Grand Prix so that the two street races aren’t held back to back and can be used to offer some variance during the season. This will be the fourth running of the Azerbaijan Grand Prix after it was cancelled last year due to the pandemic and all three of the former winners, Daniel Ricciardo, Lewis Hamilton and Valtteri Bottas will be part of the field. Will one of them manage to become the first two time winner? Or will it be a new winner once again? Perhaps Max Verstappen, the current leader in the 2021 season, can carry on his great form or could Lando Norris, so impressive in Monaco, finally get that elusive first career win in his 45th race?

Roland Garros French Open Tennis VPN

The French Open is underway and the men’s singles has reached the third round stage with plenty of big shocks already. Of the 32 seeded players who began the tournament, 19 have already been knocked out including number 4 seed Dominic Thiem and number 7 seed Andrey Rublov. The big three of Novak Djokovic, Rafa Nadal and Roger Federer are all still there, with little to trouble them so far. Federer and Djokovic will meet in the quarter-finals if both are successful in their third and fourth round contests, and the winner would face Nadal assuming he makes his way to the semi-final.

The women’s singles have seen even more shocks, with six of the top 10 seeds already out though 17 of the 32 seeds remain in the competition. The top two seeds weren’t knocked out but number 1 seed Ashleigh Barty was forced to withdraw due to injury, while number 2 seed Naomi Osaka has stepped away from Tennis to focus on her mental health. The absence of those two, plus the defeats of Anya Sabalenka, Bianca Andreescu, Karolina Pliskova and Belinda Bencic has left the field wide open. Could surprise 2020 winner Iga Swiatek go back to back? Will Serena Williams finally capture Grand Slam number 24 and equal the all-time record held by Margaret Court? or will Sofia Kenin go one better than last years runner up spot and claim her second career Grand Slam??

Sixers vs Hawks NBA IPTV VPN

There’s only one first round contest still undecided. The Dallas Mavericks lead the LA Clippers 3-2 in the best of 7 series. It’s finely balanced but with Luka Doncic playing like the best player in the league, the Mavericks will fancy their chances. The winner will take on the Utah Jazz, likely to feel good and rested having beaten the Memphiz Grizzlies 4-1 in round 1. While the Mavericks winning as a 6 seed over a 3 seed would be a shock, it’s perhaps not as shocking as the Phoenix Suns knocking out the defending Champion LA Lakers. Despite being the lower seed, nobody expected LeBron and the Lakers to lose in the first round, but lose the did and on march the Suns.

There’s a bunch of exciting games this weekend with the full schedule working out like this.

  • Friday: Mavericks vs Clippers Game 6
  • Saturday: Nets vs Bucks Game 1
  • Sunday: Sixers vs Hawks Game 1, potentially Clippers vs Mavericks Game 7
  • Monday: Nets vs Bucks Game 2, Suns vs Nuggets Game 1

No matter what you’re sporting preferences are, there should be something on for you this weekend. Settle into your favourite armchair, switch on your Liberty Shield VPN and enjoy the action while keeping your data safe.
