Kalidou Koulibaly

This weekend there’s loads of good football. Since it’s FA Cup weekend, we’ve previewed each of the four matches taking place in the quarter finals which you can read right here.

There are four Premier League matches taking place this weekend with the Fulham vs Leeds tie on Friday night looking like the potential standout. Fulham, after a disastrous start to the season, have given themselves a fighting chance of survival and could possibly climb out of the bottom three for the first time since early December. If they can beat Leeds and Newcastle fail to beat Brighton at the AMEX then Fulham will overtake the Toon and plunge Steve Bruce and co into further despair. Leeds haven’t travelled well to London this season losing all five of their trips to the capital so far this season so it is a big chance for Fulham to get three much needed points on the board.

In the Bundesliga the sadists choice might be watching Schalke tumble to another home defeat against Gladbach but for those of us who don’t enjoy self inflicted cruelty, Bayern vs Stuttgart stands out as the game to watch. Bayern are top, as usual, four points clear of Leipzig and though it’s come about slightly later than in other seasons, they have that feeling of inevitability about them once again. Stuttgart will provide a tough test for them though as they have a group of talented young players combined with quality veterans that have made them a rather formidable force this season. With the super exciting Silas Wamangituka raiding from wingback and the towering Sasa Kalajdzic in great form in front of goal it will be a tough task for David Alaba and the corpse of Jerome Boateng to keep Stuttgart out.

There are more glamorous ties taking place in La Liga this weekend but Valencia vs Granada at 3.15pm on Sunday might be the most interesting. Valencia have been an absolute dumpster fire this season. The have an owner and a club chairman who are both despised by the fans. A manager who was a poor appointment in the first place and has tried to resign multiple times only to be held to ransom by the club demanding he buy himself out of his contract. He has managed the team like a man who wants to get sacked, but the owner has kept him in charge regardless. It’s basically become some sort of hostage situation. Granada on the other hand are one of the feel good stories of Spanish football. They’re still in the Europa League and sit 8th in the table, looking to secure back to back top half finishes in the top flight for the first time in their history.

In Serie A the game of the weekend is undoubtedly 6th placed Roma vs 5th Napoli in a 7.45pm kickoff, a game neither side can afford to lose as they battle Atalanta for the fourth and final spot in next season’s Champions League, while also being very aware that 7th placed Lazio are moving into striking range to make it a four team tussle. Napoli have been in good form of late, with three wins and a draw from their last five whereas two wins and two defeats have highlighted Roma’s inconsistency. Both teams play attractive brands of football but Napoli probably have the better individual players with stars like Kalidou Koulibaly, Fabian Ruiz, Lorenzo Insigne and Victor Osimhen in their ranks.

Third hosts Second in Ligue 1 at 8pm as PSG travel to face Lyon in a must win match for both teams. PSG have lost seven times this season, and really should be dead and buried in the title race. They would be in Lille, and Lyon, could turn draws into wins but unfortunately rather than slamming the door shut on PSG they continue to hold it open and usher them back in. Ligue 1 really has been a league of drawn matches this season with 11 of the 20 teams drawing at least eight matches so far this season. PSG have only drawn three times but those seven defeats, including back to back home defeats for the first time in nine years. Lyon have the talent to inflict defeat number eight on the season, and if Memphis Depay can weave his magic upfront perhaps they will.

Six Nations VPN Free Live Rugby Streaming IPTV

While the sporting world remains somewhat subdued, and football slows down a bit, Rugby just ramps things up with lots of domestic action across four days but most importantly the fifth matchweek of the 2021 Six Nations.

The action starts Friday night with Munster vs Benetton at 6pm, and an 8.15pm doubleheader featuring Leinster vs Ospreys and Ulster vs Zebre. In the Premiership, it’s Newcastle v Wasps at 7.45pm.

Saturday belongs to the Six Nations with all three round five games scheduled back to back. Scotland take on Italy at Murrayfield with a 2pm kickoff. Italy are purely playing for pride at this point as they are certain to receive yet another Wooden Spoon after already suffering four heavy defeats. Scotland have disappointed after their opening game win over England but know that with a game still to come against France next weekend, they are still in with a chance of finishing in second place.

From there, attention turns to Dublin where Ireland host England at 4.45pm looking for a third successive victory after starting the competition with back to back defeats. England shocked many with their hard fought victory over France last weekend and a win over Ireland would turn this competition around for them, after their defeats to Scotland and Wales. Neither side will want to lose this game, but England probably have more pressure on them as speculation around Eddie Jones’ future has mounted this season.

Those games are merely the warm up acts though. The ones to whet the appetite and get you in the mood. An entrée and an aperitif if you will. The main course is served at 8pm from the magnificent Stade de France in Paris. France vs Wales, with the Six Nations trophy in attendance. France can’t win the competition this Saturday, but they can set themselves up to claim it next weekend when they host Scotland. To put themselves into that situation they need to win, and deny Wales a bonus point. If they could claim a bonus point of their own, that would also be a big help. For the Welsh, they can win the title in one of four ways but only three would see them taking home the trophy this weekend. The most straightforward is the obvious one. Win the game. Simple, yet effective. Win the game and the trophy is yours. They can also claim it with a draw. They can lose the game and still win the title, even if France beat Scotland next weekend. If it’s a low scoring game in which France fail to score four more or more tries, but Wales lose by less than seven or less then they will claim a bonus point and stand six points clear of France, one more than the French could hope to claim next weekend. Lose by more than 7 or allow France to score more than four tries and it goes to next weekend where points difference could come into effect. The French are motivated but suffered a massive blow by losing to England, Wales are in fantastic form and have been the best team in the competition. It should be a tremendous game of Rugby.

On the domestic front, there’s Premiership action as Harlequins take on Gloucester at 2pm, Bath hosting Worcester at 2.15pm and Champions Exeter taking on Leicester at 2.30pm

After the chaos of Saturday, Sunday is a quieter day but still offers great domestic action. In the Premiership Northampton take on Bristol while London Irish travel to Sale with both games kicking off at 3pm. Dragons meet Glasgow in the Pro 14 at the same time.

And last but not least, Monday has Cardiff Blues vs Edinburgh and Scarlets vs Connacht as an 8pm doubleheader in the Pro14.

Derek Brunson UFC IPTV VPN

After the last weekend’s main event fight between Leon Edwards and Belal Muhammad ended in a no contest after a straw thumb caught Muhammad in the eye and left him unable to continue the UFC will be hoping that this weekend’s offering, UFC on ESPN: Brunson vs. Holland, ends in a more exciting manner. The main event pits two men on winning streaks with eyes on a title fight against Israel Adesanya as Derek Brunson takes on Kevin Holland. Both fighters have big time KO power and neither will be in the mood to go five rounds. Holland scored a stunning KO of Jacare Souza in his last fight to run his winning streak to five successive wins, while Brunson owns a couple of memorable KOs himself and is on a three fight winning run. Brunson is often seen as something of a gatekeeper in the 185lb division but he definitely has ambitions to be more than that, he’ll have to put in an emphatic display to shake off that tag because if Holland beats him decisively it’s hard to see anyone else getting the next shot at Adesanya.

In the co-main event Gregor Gillespie returns to the octagon for the first time in 18 months following his shocking KO defeat to Kevin Lee to take on Brad Riddell who’s riding a six fight winning streak and is 3-0 since joining the UFC. Prior to the Lee fight, Gillespie was seen as the type of fighter that nobody wanted to face and possibly the only person at 155 who could match Khabib in terms of wrestling. He has a long road ahead to get back to that standing but nobody should doubt his ability to do just that.

Artur Beterbiev Boxing IPTV VPN

There are two world title fights taking place on Saturday with Moscow and London as the venues.

At the Ice Palace in Moscow unbeaten WBC and IBF Light Heavyweight Champion Artur Beterbiev puts his titles, and 15-0 record, on the line when he takes on Germany’s Adam Deines. Deines, 19-1-1, is seen as little more than a tune up fight for Beterbiev who’s chasing bigger paydays under his new deal with Bob Arum’s Top Rank. WBA Champion Dmitry Bivol is one name that has been mentioned, but the Canelo Alvarez fight is surely the main aim for Beterbiev.

At Wembley Arena, the vacant WBO Cruiserweight title will be on the line as two time former Champion Krzysztof Glowacki takes on Lawrence Okolie in what will be, by far, the biggest test of the English man’s career to date. Glowacki only has two losses on his resume, against 31 wins and those losses came against Oleksandr Usyk, arguably the greatest Cruiserweight of all time, and in extremely controversial circumstances against Mairis Briedis where he appeared to elbowed in the back of the neck leading to a TKO defeat. Briedis refused to rematch with him prompted a stripping of the title and Glowacki installed in this fight. Okolie is known for his power but he will need more than heavy hands to beat a fighter of Glowacki’s undeniable quality.

Honda Classic Golf VPN IPTV

A slightly less glamorous weekend in Golf this time around, but the Honda Classic is always a high quality competition that has seen it’s own share of drama and final day shoot-outs. With past winners including Justin Thomas, Rory McIlroy and Padraig Harrington it has certainly got plenty of credibility to boast about, and the Champion course at the PGA National Resort and Spa is one of the most picturesque courses on the circuit. Who doesn’t love seeing alligators on the fairway??

This weekend’s cricket action comes in the form of the first of a two test match series between the West Indies and Sri Lanka at Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in Antigua which starts Sunday. Before that though, there is a T20 series decider between India and England. India won the fourth match of the series by just eight runs to set up Saturday’s decider.

The tennis world is still focused on the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championship as the men’s competition is still ongoing there. Number 2 seed Andrey Rublev and number 3 seed Denis Shapalov have reached the semi-final stage on opposite sides of the draw and will be strong favourites in their respective semi-finals to advance and face each other in a final that could well be a future Grand Slam final as both are seen as part of the next wave of players who will take over once Federer, Nadal and Djokovic begin to wind down their careers.

As we head towards the March 25th trade deadline, teams are starting to panic as they look to find that one missing piece that can elevate them from a playoff team to a Championship team.
