Josh Warrington vs Mauricio Lara – Live Streaming on DAZN with Boxing VPN

Live Streaming of Josh Warrington Fight on DAZN in UK & Ireland with Boxing VPN

The date is February 13th. It’s London on a Saturday Night, and there’s a big fight feel, but not the usual sort. Former IBF Featherweight Champion Josh Warrington is about to make his walk to the ring. This will be the first fight since Warrington vacated his belt to go and chase big money fights. With the world’s top featherweights all tied up with other opponents on their dance card, Warrington has agreed to face a little known Mexican called Mauricio Lara. Lara holds a record of 22-2, not as impressive as Warrington’s 30-0. He hasn’t fought the same calibre of fighters either, nor has he ventured out of Mexico very often. This is only the second time Lara has fought outside his homeland, and the first time he’s been to Europe. This is a tune up fight for Warrington after almost 18 months out of the ring. Easy work, or so people thought. Do you need a Boxing VPN for DAZN live streaming?

Warrington vs Lara – Boxing VPN Preview

An hour after making the walk to the ring, Warrington was heading back to it having not only suffered the first defeat of his career but getting TKO’d in the process. Warrington couldn’t match Lara’s speed, movement and aggressiveness. The man known as the Leeds Warrior had built his reputation on his ability to brawl more than box. Not to suggest he doesn’t have good technique, he does. But his heart, eagerness to engage opponents and ability to take a punch were what had made him a World Champion. Lara overwhelmed the Yorkshireman, picking his angles and bamboozling Warrington who tried and tried to drag Lara into a scrap but simply couldn’t cope with the pressure onslaught or the countless.

This Saturday night, September 4th, they will meet again. This time Warrington will have a proper home advantage, with the fight taking place at the Headingley Rugby Stadium in front of a passionate crowd of local Leeds folk who will be rabid in their support of Warrington. Warrington draws from the crowd, and perhaps struggled in front of an empty arena last time out. Can the crowd even the balance between the two fighters, or will Lara once again prove too much for the local boy. The war of words between them has gotten personal, with Warrington making comments about Lara’s father and Lara promising to beat Warrington in even more comprehensive fashion this time around.

This card is worth watching not just because of the headline fight, because the co-main event might be an even bigger draw to the global audience. Katie Taylor, the number 1 female boxer on the planet, puts her unified undisputed status, and all five of her belts, on the line as she takes on American veteran Jennifer Han. Taylor, 18-0, will be the heavy favourite and some have marked this fight down as a warm up for her but in recent interviews she has spoken about her focus and the need to always be at the top of her game because of how opponents always raise their game and bring their very best against.

Han, 18-3-1-3 in 25 fights, returns to the ring for the first time in 18 months and it’s worth noting that her last fight was her first fight in two years. Ring rust could well be an issue but she’s a wily operator coming in riding an eight fight winning streak and isn’t planning to just make up the numbers against Taylor. While the Irish fighter has rattled off three wins since Han’s last fight, there have been some suggestions that she hasn’t always looked as sharp as she did in her earlier fights. Her win over Natasha Jonas was a very close affair by unanimous decision and there were moments where she looked vulnerable.

Those are the two big fights of the weekend, those are the reasons to watch. The world’s number one female fighter, and a former Champion looking to rebuild his reputation. As good a Saturday night’s entertainment as you are likely to find.
