Just wanted to know whether the application used to watch the live streams matters, and whether this router and vpn will solve that. For example, tonight 29/11/17, sports mania will work, but ACE TV can’t even get into the app and that’s the same as every Saturday. However, mania have literally run off and so I’m having to go with ACE, but like I say, more often than not, you can’t get into the app. So will this service solve that?? Ta, Dave

Hi, I subscribe to an iptv service, my isp blocks it, I know this because using cellular data there’s no buffering or any issues, however, when using wifi it buffers like crazy.
Your product sounds ideal for me, my question is this: if I connect your router to my modem, and I’ll connect my nvidia shield to it then it shouldn’t be blocked, I’m aware that the speed would be reduced slightly but not enough that I’ll have problems. Would anyone else who uses wifi (but has no need a vpn) in the house still be able to connect to the original modem? The reason I ask is that fewer users in the house connecting to the vpn router would mean that the speed wouldn’t be impacted because not every user in the home is connected to it.

The nvidia shield isn’t a device we’ve specifically tested but essentially the VPN Router connects to your ISP router and creates a new encrypted network you can connect to using WiFi or ethernet cable. Any devices you connect to the VPN Router will not be subject to any ISP blocks, plus you can still connect any other devices to your ISP as normal.

The answer is yes though, we have a video at https://libertyshield.kayako.com/article/19-quick-start-guide-for-vpn-routers which shows connections between the Virgin router and the VPN Router. You would then connect your Android TV and Zgemma box plus any other devices you want a VPN on to the VPN Router. All other devices you just connect to the Virgin router as normal.

Hi, been using IPTV on Samsung smart tv for long time now, it appears to have stopped working I suspect virgin media have blocked content I keep getting cannot connect or buffering but never comes on, , if I purchase this will this help this issue and carry on streaming the content which has been perfect up until Thursday evening.
