IPTV VPN Router Offer – Access All The Best IPTV Services Anonymously With Liberty Shield
One of the most popular search terms on Google currently is “Best IPTV VPN”. IPTV (Internet Protocol Television) has been dubbed as the future of TV, making it possible to use your broadband internet service to watch TV shows; rather than traditional TV signal delivery methods such as rooftop antenna, satellite dish or fibre-optic cable TV.
Many traditional broadcasters today are using IPTV through their official websites and apps to deliver live and on-demand TV streaming. BBC with iPlayer, ITV with ITV Hub, Channel 4 with 4OD, Sky with Sky Go etc.
However, easy to install apps such as Perfect Player and Smart IPTV can now easily be installed on Smart TVs (Samsung, Sony, LG), Mag Boxes, and Amazon Fire TV sticks/boxes; opening up a whole new market for a complete TV package away from the mainstream suppliers such as Sky and Virgin Media.
Is IPTV Legal and Safe?
In simple terms yes, many official broadcasters have IPTV services. Keep in mind though that any unofficial IPTV service selling or distributing streams they not own the rights to; is a form of piracy. While most copyright groups and ISPs are currently focusing on fighting unauthorised Kodi add-ons, their focus will most certainly soon shift to IPTV providers. If you watch IPTV from an unofficial provider then remember that your ISP can see from your logs exactly what your are accessing. It’s clearly not in the interests of Sky, BT and Virgin Media to allow users to watch premium channels with IPTV services rather than through their own official platforms. The only way to stay anonymous when watching ant form of IPTV is to use a VPN.
.
Benefits of IPTV VPN?
Whilst there are multiple benefits to always using a VPN for all your internet usage, here are some specific to IPTV:
- Privacy: Keeping prying eyes away from your internet logs is absolutely crucial in the current surveillance climate. Governments around the world are introducing new laws allowing them to log all of your internet traffic. Saying, “I’ve got nothing to hide” should never excuse your right to privacy. If you are watching IPTV then use a VPN and keep your logs private.
- ISP Throttling: Using IPTV VPN can stop your ISP throttling your internet connection. Internet speeds of 5mb or more should easily handle IPTV streaming in HD without any buffering. Buffering generally occurs for IPTV users because your ISP is seeing your heavy internet usage and throttling your broadband connection. Whilst a VPN will slightly slow down your internet connection from your ISP maximum; it will never be throttled.
- ISP Bans: ISPs worldwide, and particularly those in the UK; have began blocking IPTV streams. This means that you might not be able to watch live channels with IPTV due to the fact that your IPTV providers links are blocked by your ISP. Connecting to a VPN will precent such blocking, regardless of where you are in the world.
.
Liberty Shield run a a tier 2 level VPN network and our range of VPN Routers will allow you to connect any device, including SmartTV, Mag Box and Amazon FireTV to a VPN without changing any settings on the device itself. Hi, does this work with a sky hub broadband connection?
I have read that sky routers can be incompatible,
Thanks
Hi Frank – we have loads of customers using our VPN Routers with Sky and all other major UK ISPs.
Hi I wanted to know how many inthernet ports does your Router have and is it just plug and play or is it a complicated set up as I might not want a router that I can not set up as it might be to difficult to set up.and I have sky hub router and it only has 2 ports at the back and I have an external router as I have quite a few different items connected to it. So how do you set it up .does a lead come with your router and does it go to the sky hub and the 2 leads from the sky hub go into your own router and your lead goes to the sky hub what about the other detention router box
Hi Eddy, Thanks for your message. It’s designed to be very simple indeed, the concept is explained further in our video at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9yn5MBhO5C0&t=1s.
You can connected the VPN Router (cable is provided in the box) to any spare port on your home network – either in your Sky Hub or on a network switch, powerline adaptor, wifi extender etc.
This VPN Router model has 3 spare network ports for wired devices and also has WiFi connectivity.
Please email us on helpdesk@libertyshield.com if you need us to answer any other points.
How easy is to turn on off go back to isp turn on when privacy is needed
Hi, Nothing changes with your ISP Router so you can connect any devices to that whenever you wish if and when you don’t wish to use the VPN.
Does this work on online services like netflix country blocking ?
Do you have a guarantee of fraud protection if online banking is used while vpn is active ?
Hi, Our service works with Netflix and you can read more at https://libertyshield.kayako.com/article/50-does-your-proxy-and-vpn-work-with-netflix – the VPN offers encryption at PPTP and L2TP modes but clearly online banking can be hacked in ways out with an encrypted connection (i.e. Identity Fraud) and it would be very difficult to pinpoint accountability to a level where such a guarantee could be offered.
How do you log our data ? Instead of the isp storing our data, how do you manage the sites we visit or do you not keep any logs ?
Hi Stephen, We don’t log or monitor traffic in at all. We never share your data with anyone and don’t log your website usage through our servers in any form. Whilst privacy laws continue to change around the world, Liberty Shield remains committed to online privacy as a fundamental right for all.
Hi,
Will this work with my BT WIFI Extender?
He have devices connect upstairs via wifi through the extender.
Hi Leon, Yes absolutely; we have a help guide on WiFi Extenders at https://libertyshield.kayako.com/article/46-using-wifi-extenders-with-vpn-router you may want to have a look through.
Hi, I have currenlty subscribed to MYTVONLINE and my broadband provider is Virgin Media (hub 3.0) – i have downloaded some VPN’s to try and use the IPTV, however i have been unsuccessful thus far.
If i purchase your device and subscribe, given my above criteria – will this then allow me to stream iptv successfully?
Regards
Hi, As you mention you have tested some VPNs, I assume you can use your IPTV service on a computer or tablet etc that supports VPN? If so, them before buying the VPN Router perhaps get our 48 hour free trial of our software VPN at https://www.libertyshield.com/Home/OrderService/0 and check that your IPTV is not blocked. Some IPTV require you to inform them you are using a VPN and provide the IP address. I hope this helps.
Can I watch an open box IPTV with virgin media cause it’s blocking it at the moment
Hi Roy, Yes our VPN Router will not be subjected to the blocks that Virgin are. You connect your VPN Router to the Virgin Hub and this creates a new network in your home, you then connect your Open Box to the VPN Router instead of your Virgin Hub. We have a video demo at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sG_9YG3Gk0Y&t=10s which demonstrates Virgin blocking and the VPN Router not blocking.
